Is Driveragent Plus Safe To Use
The only thing is, when I just powered on my laptop, a DriverAgent ad popped up just when I logged into Discord, which was weird, because there was no program on the taskbar, so I thought 'Oh shit, this is an adware virus', and so I rushed to open Malwarebytes to start a scan, and sure enough, 18 identified threats were found, and all were from DriverAgent. As many of you know, CPU-Z by CPU-ID is a very good tool by legitimate developers. However, when I press 'Tools' on the bottom and press 'check for BIOS update' I get taken a website that has.
Pros
It works like many others, but nothing special
Cons
Hidden deep in the ToA is a cancellation fee of $8.95 that must be paid to get out of reoccurring charges

Summary
Lets just say law enforcement is involved and leave it at that, no I am not kidding! If you give them your money, all you will have is a messed up computer and no money! My Banks fraud division was able to catch the charge before it went through and notify the Feds. I was busy trying to get all their worms and other nasty little parasites out of my system, so hellyeah to the bank for slapping it down!
Pros
None that I could find.
Cons
I've owned computers since 1991 so I'm not a newbie, thank God. This program made a mess out of my computer and it took several hours to undo what it had done.
Summary
Stay away from it.....

1) Will not install drivers.
2) Manually install manufacturer drivers which are newer than what DA provides and the scan still says to update the drivers.
3) Had to reload windows after uninstalling the application. Had constant freezing, reboots every few minutes.
4) Worst customer service I ever dealt with. Rude.
5) Will not refund your purchase as they guarantee on their website.

Summary
Just purchased, would not install any of the drivers. Updated drivers from manufacturer and DA still said they were out of date. I do network support for a living and so know a bit around a computer.
Contacted tech support and it seemed they were not even reading the responses. After several attempts I decided the application isn't going to work for me and contacted customer support for a refund. Here it gets fun.
The representative responding is Bob Kelly of eSupport.com Support Team. He was immediately snide, condescending on my request. I responded that I had tried support and it's not for me. Please refund.
His last response is this, even though I have multiple emails going back and forth from technical support. 'Actually you didn't try support before. When our instructions failed, we offered to remotely connect and do it for you and you refused. ' Which is totally false.
I have contacted the credit card company and walking across the street to file a complaint with the Texas AG.

Really screwed up my computer, and that was just trying to get rid of the trialware.
Summary
Used CCcleaner and was asked if I wanted to check status of drivers. Clicked OK, ended up with trialware version of DriverAgent that told me I needed to update my drivers and should buy the program to do so. Said no thanks, but could not close the window, nor could I close Windows. Shut down, reboot. Tried to delete with Windows software removal. DriverAgent blocked that and popped open a window offering a reduced price. Could not close the window. Searched to see where it was installed and used the uninstall.exe to get rid of it. Subsequently found that boot times had increased four-fold. Tried to reset to older restore point, but that aborted each time. Now all of my old restore points are gone.

Cons
It does not work. Downloading and applying drivers is clumsy and so far (yes I am a PAYING customer), I cannot get it to work.
Summary
I am lazy and loved the promise of a simple tool that would fetch and apply the latest updates for this pc that I built. Unfortunately, it does not fulfill its promise. Real shame. I will test the 60 day refund next.

Overview of Biosagentplus.exe
What Is Biosagentplus.exe?
Biosagentplus.exe is a type of EXE file associated with DriverAgent Application developed by eSupport.com for the Windows Operating System. The latest known version of Biosagentplus.exe is 2.2012.11.20, which was produced for Windows 8. This EXE file carries a popularity rating of 1 stars and a security rating of 'UNKNOWN'.
What Are EXE Files?
EXE ('executable') files, such as biosagentplus.exe, are files that contain step-by-step instructions that a computer follows to carry out a function. When you 'double-click' an EXE file, your computer automatically executes these instructions designed by a software developer (eg. eSupport.com) to run a program (eg. DriverAgent Application) on your PC.
Every software application on your PC uses an executable file - your web browser, word processor, spreadsheet program, etc. - making it one of the most useful kinds of files in the Windows operating system. Without executable files like biosagentplus.exe, you wouldn't be able to use any programs on your PC.
Why Do I Have EXE Errors?
Because of their usefulness and ubiquity, EXE files are commonly used as a method of delivery for virus / malware infection. Often, viruses will be disguised as a benign EXE file (such as biosagentplus.exe) and distributed through SPAM email or malicious websites, which can then infect your computer when executed (eg. when you double-click the EXE file).
In addition, viruses can infect, replace, or corrupt existing EXE files, which can then lead to error messages when DriverAgent Application or related programs are executed. Thus, any executable files that you download to your PC should be scanned for viruses before opening - even if you think it is from a reputable source.
When Do EXE Errors Occur?
EXE errors, such as those associated with biosagentplus.exe, most often occur during computer startup, program startup, or while trying to use a specific function in your program (eg. printing).
Common Biosagentplus.exe Error Messages
The most common biosagentplus.exe errors that can appear on a Windows-based computer are:
- 'Biosagentplus.exe Application Error.'
- 'Biosagentplus.exe is not a valid Win32 application.'
- 'Biosagentplus.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.'
- 'Cannot find biosagentplus.exe.'
- 'Biosagentplus.exe not found.'
- 'Error starting program: biosagentplus.exe.'
- 'Biosagentplus.exe is not running.'
- 'Biosagentplus.exe failed.'
- 'Faulting Application Path: biosagentplus.exe.'
These EXE error messages can appear during program installation, while a biosagentplus.exe-related software program (eg. DriverAgent Application) is running, during Windows startup or shutdown, or even during the installation of the Windows operating system. Keeping track of when and where your biosagentplus.exe error occurs is a critical piece of information in troubleshooting the problem.
